The Affordable Care Act isn’t getting replaced. This “repeal and replace Obamacare” jargon coming from Republicans in Congress is a charade. Republicans don’t want to be the ones responsible for un-insuring millions of their constituencies so they’ll find ways to make Obamacare cheaper by subsidizing portions of it using funds from other budgets and touting their strategy as a fiscally responsible alternative to what the Democrats proposed.

“Maybe it’ll take till sometime into next year, but we’re certainly going to be in the process,” Mr. Trump said during an interview with Bill O’Reilly of Fox News, after Mr. O’Reilly asked the president whether Americans could “expect a new health care plan rolled out by the Trump administration this year.”
